Before you connect.
What counts as a session?
A session starts when DevTools or a CDP/CLI client attaches to a target. In Free it ends after 15 minutes, or earlier when the last client disconnects. Device discovery, status and diagnostics do not consume sessions.
How is the license activated?
Polar will email a license key linked to your purchase. Activate it in the app or with tapscope login <key>. Pro covers two Macs. Deactivate an old Mac before moving its activation to a new one.
Who handles payment, tax and refunds?
Polar is the planned merchant of record and handles payments, tax and refund processing. Prices include applicable taxes. Final purchase terms and the refund policy will be published before checkout becomes available.
